Green Day Concert Review!

Green Day - Key Arena - July 3rd, 2009(2nd concert ever)
Here is my review on the first time I ever saw Green Day live and how I went about my day... The date is July 3rd, 2009. First stop of the 21st Century Breakdown World Tour, in Seattle Washington. Starts off my buddy Tyler and I start driving to to downtown Seattle, arrive about 1:30 and see that there are already a chunk of people in line waiting to to see Green Day. Luckily my friend from the fan club website is there and has saved us a spot... So we sit there for hours on end, eating snacks, playing Green Day nonstop on my ipod as the time ticks by. Then at about 5 PM or so we get out of line go get our tickets from will call, come back and get our wrist bands because we are all on the floor(first time ever on the floor). Then i decided to get out of line to go get some water, and on my way back I realize I had LOST my ticket! So here I am in a mad panic about ready to cry, because I can't find it, start yelling at my friends I lost my ticket While I'm on the lawn looking for it. Then I go back to the garbage can where I threw a plastic bag away and thank god it was sitting on the very top of the garbage! So I go back in line and by that time its 6:45 and they're about to let us walk down to the doors to walk in:) So we go in and the Bravery comes on to open for Green Day about an hour later of just standing there on the floor waiting... This whole time I had to go to the bathroom, had a stomach ache, ect... The Bravery weren't really that good at all, so that just made it even worse. But of course I was determined to stay cause I didn't wanna lose my spot. then at about 9pm, Song of the Century started playing and Green Day walked out and that very second I felt great again and totally forgot about my aches and pains lol. They Opened with 21 Century Breakdown, which is my favorite song off of the new album. Green Day played pretty much all there hits, Longview was a blast and a guy went on stage and practically made out with Billie. Billie has a super soaker which he squirts on the the crowd, and just the way he gets everyone pumped up is amazing! One of my favorite moments was when he brought a fan on stage to play all of Jesus of Suburbia on guitar! "He's like are you sure you know the whole thing?" "She" was also another awesome moment because Billie came out to the end of the catwalk and I was right in front of him. The only thing that sucked a little, was it was my first time on the floor ever so I kinda got pushed back a lot of rows. And My last favorite moment was when they came out for the encore, and played Good Riddance(Time of Your Life) That was amazing! Then I was sad, because it was over and went by so fast, but I was also happy because that was the most amazing night of my life!! After being to 12 more concerts since Green Day and about one year later I can still say the same thing, that night changed my life and I will never see Green Day other than on the floor if I can help it! I've seen bands, From Avenged Sevenfold, to Blink 182, to Nickelback, Three Days Grace, Kenny Chesney, you name it. So if you want a show of a lifetime, see this band and you will not be disappointed!!!
Thanks for reading my review and hope you have the time of your life at your first or next Green Day show!
